CEDS advances critical sustainable development issues from the perspective of the built environment by generating vital knowledge and creative solutions. An inter-disciplinary team of dedicated professionals accomplishes this mission through a focused "action research" portfolio with direct science and policy consulting.

Geographically focused on China's urban planning sector, we are constantly developing new insights into the China market and the built environment. Our goal is to assist our stake holders to realize their objectives, and to help shape the debate in this sector in which CEDS is involved.

Founder Profile
Kim Hor TOH holds a Bachelors of Architecture degree with Honors from the National University of Singapore and a M.Sc (Econs) with Distinction in Regional and Urban Planning from the London School of Economics, UK.
He is a recepient of the Chevening/Raffles Scholarship (awarded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, UK) and has won various design competitions and awards for his architecture and urban planning design.
He furthered his postgraduate studies in Interdisciplinary Design for the Built Enviornment at the University of Cambridge, UK and also completed the Senior Executive Program at Stanford University, USA. He has over 10 years of work experience practicing in Singapore, Hong Kong and other parts of Asia.
Currently he is based in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, P.R. China.
